Become a College Nine and College Ten College Guide!
The College Guide position is a volunteer leadership role that develops emerging student leaders through training, experiential learning, and engagement with the College Nine and College Ten communities.
College Guides (CGs) work throughout Fall Quarter and the academic year to create a welcoming and inclusive community for the newest College Nine and College Ten students. They play key roles in planning Fall Orientation and Welcome Week, and support first-year students throughout the academic year as mentors and occasional small program planners.
As part of the College Nine and College Ten Programs & Activities team, CGs work directly with the College Programs Coordinator, the Assistant College Programs Coordinator, the Fall Planning Assistant, Community Programs Assistants, Resident Assistants, and other student staff. In addition, CGs support the Activities Office at large-scale events such as College Nights, commencement ceremonies, and other college programming.
There are 25-30 OL positions available at Colleges Nine and Ten for the 2017-18 academic year.
