Student Life

One of the primary goals of College Nine is to help our students actively engage in the college community and build leadership skills that reflect our theme of international & global perspectives. We encourage you to take on leadership roles at the college and progress through various college programs. To formally recognize your leadership contributions and experiences, the International & Global Perspectives Leadership Certificate is presented upon your graduation. This is a tangible honor that can be highlighted in employment and graduate school applications.

College Nine Leadership Journal

Providing opportunities for students to shape their environment and develop leadership skills is what Student Life is all about at College Nine. Student-driven groups and student organizations have a primary role in planning co-curricular programming and student activities.

To enhance our theme of International and Global Perspectives, students and staff work together to develop programs, providing opportunities to learn about and enjoy different aspects of the chosen region. Festivals of food and dance, hands-on arts programs, faculty presentations, field trips, film series and other programs are offered each month.

Because College Nine works closely with the Office of International Education, our students are provided special opporutnities to interact with international students on campus and are encoruaged to consider studying abroad.

Student leadership opportunities include membership in any of College Nine's Student Organizations as well as our student staff positions.
