Peer Advisors
Are well-trained and compassionate student leaders whose job is to help and support you! Peer Advisors have personal experience as current students and Advisors often rely on them for insight on the student experience. Peer Advisors can support with:
- General graduation/GE checks
- General enrollment issues (how to enroll, swap or edit a class)
- Understanding the next steps with a form
- Assistance in setting up an appointment with a College Nine Advisor
- Identifying campus resources
Our in-person front desk is managed by our Peer Advisers. They are also available Monday through Friday via Google Chat for any quick questions!

Email Advising
College Nine Advisors can respond to quick inquiries via email, including completing forms that require our signature. A College Nine Advisor will respond within 2-3 business days. For any urgent concerns, please type "URGENT" in your email subject line.

Zoom Drop-In Advising
Visit us during our Zoom Drop-In Hours for quick express advising meetings with a College Nine Advisor. This is a first-come basis service. The wait time can vary depending on the time of the quarter and upcoming deadlines.
Important note: Due to security and safety reasons, students must be logged into their UCSC Zoom Account to enter the Zoom Room. For any students that do not have an active UCSC Zoom Account, please email 9jrlcpa@ucsc.edu to schedule an appointment with a College Nine Advisor.
1st Pass Enrollment Days (Feb 26th to Feb 28th & March 3rd to March 5th): from 1:30pm - 3:30pm PST. Last student is seen 15 minutes before the end of Drop-In.
