Alumni Weekend (April 28–30) is quickly approaching! At Colleges Nine and Ten, we will be hosting an Alumni Story Slam and Open Mic(April 29, 7pm-9pm) to showcase alumni spoken word, personal narratives, and musical performances alongside current student performances. We will also unveil our new Alumni Photo Wall(April 29, 3pm), which will be followed by student-led tours around the colleges and murals. 

The Alumni Wall will feature historic photos of students in past years, posters of major events at the colleges, and featured alumni profiles. This will be a permanent installment on the administration floor at Social Sciences 1, and alumni features will rotate periodically. If you would like to submit some of your old photos from back in the day and/or and a photo of your post-grad life, please contact Lori Schachle at lschachl@ucsc.edu. We'd love to add your photos, even if you can't make it to this Alumni Weekend!

The Alumni Story Slam and Open Mic will be open to current and former C9/C10 students and friends. If you are interested in signing up, contact Lori Schachle at lschachl@ucsc.edu. Light refereshments will be served at this event, which also marks the 5th Anniversary of the Terry Freitas Cafe! Alumni are encouraged to tell stories of how they are living out the colleges' themes post-graduation; narrative, spoken word, poetry, short musical performances are all welcome.
